Mayo Fine Gael TD, John O’Mahony, today (Wednesday) welcomed reassurances from BreastCheck that its mobile screening units are accessible to wheelchair users and people with disabilities. Deputy O’Mahony has received representations on the issue and was particularly concerned when one constituent could not gain access to the unit for her breast exam because she is in a wheelchair.
